Rockit Design – iPhone travel app
After years of working on travel guides, we now find ourselves illustrating interactive content rich apps on smartphones. Our Italian client Compart Multimedia is producing excellent products for the iPhone & iPad utilising our experience of paper based travel publishing which also includes employing some of our more tradition artwork skills.
Pete Jarvis – personal project
Chapel resident Pete Jarvis has achieved his hat-trick in getting another watercolour into the Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibition. Competition has become very stiff this year with a total of around 1100 entries and the judges selecting just 100 for exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. Read more here.

Export2Reality – The Cornwall Project
The Cornwall project was a final year university project by Ben Wilkinson, Joel Slaney, Sophia Coney, Tom Carter and Joel Pigou. The brief was simple: to create a 1950s Cornish village in the unreal 3 game engine, to the standard of modern AAA PS3/xbox 360 games. It posed a lot of technical and artistic challenges, and on top of that they had to make it work with a students budget. See more here.

Need somewhere to be creative in Southampton? Join the DESIGN CHAPEL. A totally unique set up offering desk space to individuals and small companies giving the opportunity to work in a wonderful creative environment with likeminded and inspiring fellow artists and designers. The Chapel itself is Grade II listed, dates from the 1840s, and is situated in Southampton’s Old Cemetery on Southampton Common. The building has been converted, in recent years, from a derelict Chapel to an office space, all the original character has been retained alongside modern fixtures and fittings inside, creating a fantastic working environment.
